Ukraine Investment Facility and the Polish Development Bank’s special status
Poland: The Ukrainian parliament has ratified an intergovernmental agreement on the status of the Polish Development Bank (BGK) in Ukraine. This means that BGK’s activities in the Ukrainian market are protected by the umbrella of an international agreement. This will enable BGK, among other things, to implement preferential financial mechanisms in Ukraine using instruments from the European Ukraine Facility.

Connecting gas-fired power plants to Poland's gas network
Poland: Connection to the Polish gas network requires obtaining connection conditions, concluding a connection agreement, and paying a regulated fee. System operators are obliged to ensure equal and non-discriminatory access where technical and economic conditions are met. Recent regulatory changes increase flexibility for gas-fired power plants and aim to clarify the validity period of gas connection conditions.
