Poland: In recent months, entrepreneurs have been increasingly considering the practical aspects of applying the EUDR. This is not surprising, as the Regulation will come into force in a few months, on 30 December 2025 (with exceptions). EUDR, i.e. Regulation 2023/1115 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 31 May 2023 on the making available on the Union market and the export from the Union of certain commodities and products associated with deforestation and forest degradation and repealing Regulation 995/2010, is the EU’s response to growing concerns about mass deforestation around the world, that is one of the main causes of biodiversity loss and climate change.

Das LG Arnsberg hat eine Hausdurchsuchung in Menden wegen Anti-Merz-Schmierereien für rechtswidrig erklärt. Es habe weder einen Anfangsverdacht gegeben noch einen ordnungsgemäßen Antrag der Staatsanwaltschaft.  Direktorin des AG Arnsberg, das den Durchsuchungsbeschluss erlassen hat, ist Charlotte Merz.
