Nach langem Streit über den neuen Wehrdienst – insbesondere über ein Losverfahren – haben Union und SPD eine Einigung erzielt. Vorgesehen sind eine verpflichtende Musterung, Zielmarken und eine Bedarfswehrpflicht, falls Freiwillige fehlen.
