The Modern Slavery Bill has reached another key milestone, with the Education and Workforce Committee reporting the Bill back to Parliament and recommending that it proceed with a number of amendments. While the Committee has retained the Bill’s core reporting framework, it has introduced several changes designed to improve the regime’s practicality and better align it with existing reporting obligations in New Zealand and Australia.
